Frances Y. (McGuffey) Sharp, 77 of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the Historic Villages at Silvercrest. She was born on October 16, 1936 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry L. Sharp.
Frances is survived by her children, Rhonda L. Grangier (Bryan), Rex L. Sharp (Eileen); grandchildren, Branda, Bobby, and Jerry Grangier; Audrey, Adam, and Jered Sharp.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN) with a Memorial Service taking place at 1 PM with burial to follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Borden, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus – the Community Hospice of Southern Indiana (624 E. Market Street, New Albany, IN 47150).
