Frances Marie Montgomery, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022.
She was born on May 19, 1933 in Louisville, Kentucky to David and Frances Reeves . Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Montgomery, sister, Geraldine Montgomery, brother, David Reeves, and grandson, Tony Waddell.
Frances was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed taking care of her family and spending time with Dude. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, honesty, resilience and love, she will truly be missed by many.
Frances is survived by her loving children, Dennis (Reda Neou) Montgomery, Theresa Waddell, Charles Montgomery, Frances (Terry) Bliss, Joyce Garner, Joe (Rhonda) Montgomery, Donald Montgomery, 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and her sister, Loretta Reeves.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Stephens Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Frances 's memory be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
