Frances June Robinson McClure

Frances June Robinson McClure, age 90 of Louisville, passed away at home on October 30, 2025. Frances was born in Mercer County, KY on June 14, 1935 to Reva Stratton and Thomas Delbert Robinson. She graduated from Harrodsburg High School, Harrodsburg, KY, and the Kentucky Baptist School of Nursing, Louisville, KY. In addition to her nursing career, she was the heart of her family instilling faith and family traditions that knit her family together and will continue to create a love of God and family in future generations.

Frances was a member of Southeast Christian Church, and enjoyed gardening, family gatherings and shelling on the north end of Pawleys Island. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, John Rutledge McClure, her parents and 4 siblings.

Frances is survived by her four children: Doris Karen McClure, John Rutledge McClure, Jr (Kimberly), Sue Ellen McClure Dyer (Ken), Frank Robinson McClure (Lisa); five grandchildren: Lauren McClure Carby (Trey), Scott Robinson McClure (Maddie), Mark Andrew McClure (Sarah Margaret), Lyla Frances Dyer Bailey (Bradley) and Kendall Erin Dyer; and 6 great grandchildren: Conner, Hudson, Jackson, Adeline, Graham, and Ava.

She now rests peacefully in the arms of her Lord and Savior and is enjoying all that God has promised to give His children for eternity.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). Her funeral will follow that day at 11:30 am at the funeral home. A private family burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church, Mercer County. Kentucky.
