Frances (Martin) Ivester, 91, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 5, 2017.
She enjoyed word finding puzzles and quilting, but more than anything she loved spending time with her friends and family.
Frances was born on April 4, 1926 in Spencer, North Carolina to the late H.R. and Lona Martin. She was also preceded in death by her husband William (Will) F. Ivester, brothers H.R. and Rufus Martin and sister Lona Mae (Martin) Phillips.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Whitworth (Bill), son, Bill Ivester, Jr., grandchildren Tracey (Mark) Salling, Callie (Noah) Schaefer and Zach Ivester. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Braedon and Jonah Salling, Saxton Schaefer and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Lebanon National Cemetery (20 Highway 208 Lebanon, KY 40033).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a children's charity or a charity of your choice in her honor.
