Frances M. Bridwell, 93, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.
She was born on April 3, 1928 in Manchester, England to the late Alfred and Alice (McCann) Gardiner.
She worked in lunchroom at Bowen Elementary for 26 years and loved interacting with all the children. Frances enjoyed traveling, gardening and working in the yard. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Elvin C. Bridwell; son, David Bridwell; son, Mike Bridwell; three sisters, Patsy Chapman, Kathleen Ridings and Maureen Carl.
Frances is survived by her son, Paul A. Bridwell; step-daughter, Susie Russell; 6 grandchildren, Justin Bridwell, Tara Bridwell, Ryan Bridwell, Garrett Bridwell, Olivia Bridwell, and Matthew Russell; 2 great grandchildren, Robert Bridwell and Bryson Board.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions-East Louisville Chapel, (235 Juneau Dr.). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions-East Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East in Louisville, Kentucky.
