Nettie Blue

Nettie “Meemaw” Blue returned peacefully to her heavenly home on August 9, 2025. She was the essence of selflessness, always putting the needs of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren before her own. She opened her door to anyone that needed help. Nettie was a woman of unwavering faith, who saw the good in everyone she met. Her heart of gold radiated love and kindness to all, and she served the Lord with complete devotion.

Nettie's memory will be cherished by her loving family: her four children, Ron Watchmaker (Janet), Annette Ramsey (Greg), John Arnold, and Tommy Joe Drescher; her eleven grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Danielle, Kaylynn, Shayna, Suzanne, Alyssa, Brieonna, Mariah, Megan, and Joe Joe; and her fifteen great grandchildren with one angel on the way. She also had three bonus children from a previous marriage, Mark, Faye, and Cheryl.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son Eric Eugene, her mother Matilda Blue, her father Sydney Blue, and her sisters Carol Brewer and Cathy Harris.

Nettie's legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Nettie chose to be cremated with a celebration of life to follow, which will take place on 8/23/2025.
