Foster Edwin Farris

February 22, 1940 — March 23, 2017

Foster Edwin "Ed" Farris, age 77, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2017. He attended Eastern High School and was a veteran of the National Guard. Ed was an avid NASCAR fan and loved Elvis. He is preceded in death by his parents, Foster W. and Dorothy E. Farris.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Cheryl; children, James Yount and Tammy Lasley; 2 grandchildren, Sam and Cole; siblings, Steve Farris (Michelle) and Debbie Cheatham (Joe); and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 2-8pm Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. A celebration of Ed's life will be 11am Wednesday, March 29th at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
