Forrest Flemister

July 18, 1946 — November 6, 2020

Forrest "Freddie" Flemister, 75, of Radcliff, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020. He was born on July 18, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Artis Flemister and Florence Gay Whiteside. He proudly served in and retired from the Unites States Navy. He was a lifelong member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Peter Calver.

In addition to his parents, Freddie is preceded in death by his brother, Richard E. Spears.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Rhonda Flemister, Lisa (Charles, Sr.) Batts-Dickson, Karen (Demond) Tunstull, Crystal Flemister, Tyuet Flemister, Terrence Bing, and Talitha Bing; 14 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and cousins.

A service to celebrate Freddie's life will take place at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at St. Augustine Catholic Church - Louisville, (1310 W. Broadway). The family will accept guests for visitation at the church from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to the service. Freddie will be laid to rest with military honors on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 11:00 am in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky (2501 North Dixie Boulevard).
