Forest Oliver Brown’s time on earth was brief, yet his presence left an indelible mark on all who had the blessing of knowing him. Born September 6, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky and departing from the New Albany community on July 26, 2026, Forest's journey radiated love, strength, and warmth that touched countless hearts.
From the moment he arrived, Forest was the most loving, happy, and strong boy. His love for his Mommy and Daddy was boundless—he loved Ashley Bouchey and Dale Brown, Jr. more than life itself. Their world was brighter and deeper because of his gentle spirit, and alongside them, every day held new meaning. Forest’s smile lit up every room; it was truly contagious and brought joy to anyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
Forest shared a unique and magical bond with his siblings: his sisters, Brooklynn Stevens and Isabella Stevens, and his brother, Colt Brown. The sounds of their laughter and the quiet moments they enjoyed together remain cherished memories in their hearts, woven into the very fabric of their family.
A child enchanted by the natural world, Forest loved the outdoors. Whether it was going outside with his dad or simply gazing through his bedroom window, he found wonder in the world around him. Rain or shine, what mattered most was that sense of connection—to nature, to his family, and to life itself.
Forest leaves behind his beloved parents, siblings, grandparents Adam and April Coombs, and Dale Brown, Sr., who knew the special joy only a grandchild can bring. His loving aunt, Brittany Bouchey, Uncle, DJ Lovan, and cousins, Kasen and Elijah Lovan will forever treasure their memories of laughter and love shared with Forest.
Though his path was challenging, Forest’s courage inspired everyone who met him. He never let his struggles define him, instead teaching those around him about resilience, the power of hope, and the radiant energy of a loving heart. Despite his short time here, he loved deeply and was beloved in return.
Forest joins in peace his grandmother, Vaughanita Brown, grandmother, Donna Herron, and uncle, Matthew Brown, who welcomed him with open arms.
To know Forest was to witness pure happiness and boundless love. The legacy he leaves behind is one of joy, affection, and abiding strength—a legacy that will be carried forever by those who loved him.
A ceremony to honor and remember Forest Oliver Brown’s beautiful life will be announced by his family at a later time. As family and friends mourn, they also find comfort in the brightness Forest brought to their lives, holding him close in memory and love, always.
