Floyd Wallace Schroeder

Floyd Wallace "Chigger" Schroeder, Jr., 73, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Floyd was a United States Navy veteran and worked for many years for Denny's Restaurant as a Training Specialist. He was a member of the Hobart Beach VFW Post 1693 and loved fishing in his spare time.

He was born on July 1, 1945 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Stella (Brown) and Floyd W. Schroeder, Sr. Along with his parents, Floyd is preceded in death by his brother, Mark Schroeder.

Floyd is survived by his siblings, Michael (Betty Jean) Schroeder, Starr (Eddie) Jenks, and Stacey Weaver.

Visitation will start at 4:00 pm on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany, with Military Honors beginning at 5:00 pm. Visitation will then continue until 8:00 pm.

The family requests that contributions in Floyd 's memory be made to the Hobart Beach VFW Post 1693.
