Floretta "Flo" Mathews

Floretta Miller Mathews was born August 7,1933 to the late Theodore Miller and Ruth (hill) Barnes. She attended Louisville public schools. Her first profession was as a nurses assistant. She later became a family nurse. She loved taking care of people including family members. She ran a boarding home for challenged adults who were incapable of caring for themselves.

She is preceded in death by both parents, husband William Mathews, Betty Louise Logan and Jacqueline "Jackie" Mitchell, son Oliver "Boy" Mitchell, and two brothers Theodore Miller Jr and Shirley Lee Miller.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories one daughter Doris "Nukie" Logan, one son Robert McCormick, one sister Julia Williams, two nephews Brian and James Williams, 6 grand children Laresha, Shavonda, Lamar, Shontez Logan and Jasmine Mitchell, 10 great-grandchildren. A host of cousins and friends that loved your dearly.
