Festus Foley
Foley, Festus W. 89, passed away Sunday April 11th. He was a retired teacher with 30 plus years of service in KY public and private schools. He was a WW II US Army veteran, served 27 months as a POW,and was awarded the Bronze Star. He also served as a Disabled Veteran counselor.
He was preceded in death by his wife Helen. grandson, Brian Seth Foley and great granddaughter, Eden Foley.
He is survived by sons, Wayne (Katie) and David (Debbie);daughters, Carol and Kathy Foley; brother,Ed Foley;grandchildren,Nathan Adam Lauren,Austin and great granddaughter,Elin.
Funeral ceremony 12:30 PM Friday April 16th at Newcomer Funeral Home,235 Juneau Drive with visitation after 10:00 AM. Burial in Louisville Memorial Garden East. Online condolences at www.newcomerlouisville.com.
