Festal "Pat" Phelps ,77, of Fairdale, KY passed away on March 1, 2015. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War.
Pat was born on August 24, 1937, in Russell Springs, KY to the late Nathan and Flora Lee Phelps. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Phelps; and one brother, Jack Phelps.
Pat is survived by his children, Patti Bingham (Ernie), Lori Browning (Kevin), Rhett Phelps; step-children, John Keele, Leigh Ann Ford (Preston); 9 grandchildren; and one sister, Vada Kirby.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A funeral ceremony to honor the life of Pat will be held Friday at 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, with entombment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Lung Association.
