Faye S. Briscoe, 95, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. She retired from New Albany-Floyd County School Corporation and was a longtime member of Central Christian Church.
She was born on May 1, 1925, in New Albany to John and Cora (Stevens) Briscoe. In addition to her parents, Faye was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray; as well as two brothers and two sisters.
Faye is survived by her sons, Ray (Kathy), Bill, and Don (Linda) Briscoe. Survivors also include her grandchildren, Lindsay Schmitt (Nick), Ryane Edsall (Zach), Amos (Shannon), Matt, Nick (Hannah), Jared, Madeline, and Julia Briscoe; along with four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held privately, and Faye will be laid to rest with her husband at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. Contributions in her memory may be made to Central Christian Church (1315 E. Spring Street, New Albany, IN 47150).
