Fairy B. Karey, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on July 5, 2021 at the University of Louisville Hospital.

Fairy was born on September 3, 1950, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Gentry and Susie Mae Bennett. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Wallace Sanders, Dale Sanders, Carl Bennett.

Fairy is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert Karey; children, Roderick Karey (Amber) and Desmond Karey; grandchildren, Dazia, Desiree, De'mya, Dahlia, Symone, Roderick, and Abel; and cousins, Sharon Williams and Anna Tyus; and numerous, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville). Her Funeral Ceremony will be held Tuesday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
