Everett Leroy Harl, Sr., 79, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Everett was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard and loved being outdoors hunting, fishing, and ginseng hunting. He enjoyed restoring old cars, attending Peddler's Malls, and watching and supporting his grandchildren play sports.
He was born on September 13, 1942, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Thomas and Minnie (Davenport) Harl. Along with his parents, Everett is preceded in death by his brother, James Harl.
Everett is survived by his ex-wife, good friend, and mother of his children, Carol Harl; children, Everett L. (Lesa) Harl, Jr., Sheila K. (Kenny) DeWeese, Bradley A. (Marsha) Harl, and Christopher B. (Michelle) Harl; grandchildren, Amber (Adam) Hall, Dylan (Olivia) Harl, Cody Harl, Courtney DeWeese, and Jessica DeWeese; great-grandchildren, Landen Harl, Bryston DeWeese, Braelynn DeWeese, Karson Padgett, Alden Hall, Lilyonna DeWeese, Branntlee Sturgeon, Wesley Harl, and Asher Hall; brother, Robert Harl; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Cremation was chosen in regards to Everett's wishes. No services have been scheduled.
