Evelyn Marie (Perkins) Hash, 85, a proud mother, of Floyds Knobs, IN, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016. She was a devoted Christian and a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Floyds Knobs. Evelyn loved unconditionally unlike no other and if you needed care she was always there.
She was born on July 21, 1931 in Floyd County, Indiana to the late Robert and Marie (Smith) Perkins. Evelyn was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Hash; son, Gary Hash; siblings, Robert, Allen, Charles, Edwin Perkins, and Martha Myers. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Kenneth Hash (Loan Nguyen), Steven Hash, James Hash; and sister-in-law, Lillian Perkins.
Visitation will be from 5 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Wednesday after 9 AM. Her Funeral Service will take place at 10 AM on Wednesday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
