Evelyn Marie Kitchen, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren. She loved to cook for her family, and could make anything. Evelyn will be missed by all who knew her.
She was born on July 30, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to Ben and Margaret Bland. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Jim Kitchen, Son, Darrell Kitchen, Parents, and Brother, Danny Bland.
Evelyn is survived by her Sons, Mark (Mary) Kitchen, Michael Kitchen, and Bobby Kitchen, Daughters, Brenda (Larry) Kitchen Gatewood, and Debbie Rees, Grandchildren, Jason Kitchen, Peyton Kitchen, Brandon Kitchen, Jeff Gatewood, Eric Gatewood, Trenton Gilliam, and Jessica Harden, Sisters, Patty (Wesley) Ray, Linda Campanell, Beverly Drechsel, Billie Jo Butler, and Jackie McAllister. Evelyn also leaves behind to cherish her memory 8 Great-Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, November 22, 2020 for Family and Close Friends. Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 23, 2020 for Family only, and Graveside Services will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Mount Washington.
