Evelyn L. Copass

Evelyn L. Copass, 92, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018.

She was born on April 23, 1926 in Louisville, Kentucky to Charles and Ruby (Bryant) Wood. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Hascal Copass, son, Jimmie Copass, sister, Juanita Goad, brother, Melvin Wood.

She is survived by her son, Freddie (Patty) Copass, 3 grandchildren, Susan Copass-Cheng, Kelli Copass-Simpson, Michael (Laura) Copass, 6 great grandchildren, Meredith, Merrick Andrew, Emma, Merissa, Luke, Harper, best friend and loving sister, Nelda Conkin, sister, Mattie (Bobby) Howard.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.

Evelyn was a long time member of Valley Station Baptist Church (Highview Baptist Church). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Highview Baptist Church - Valley Station Campus, Doll Ministry.
