Evan Andrew Hollkamp

Evan Andrew Hollkamp, 23, of Borden, Indiana, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019. He was born on September 21, 1995 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Evan was a graduate of Our Lady of Providence High School in 2014 and was a student at Purdue Polytechnic. He loved to play soccer; and in his senior year, he led his Providence team to the state finals. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends that loved him.

Evan is survived by his loving parents, Jeff and Carrie Hollkamp; brother, Grant Hollkamp; grandparents, Suzann Hollkamp, Paul and Brenda Hurst; aunts and uncles, Dennis Hollkamp, Timothy Hollkamp, Thomas (Lisa) Hollkamp, Kyla (Scott) James, Casey (Mindy) Hurst, and Cory Hurst; cousins, Holli (Doug) Wolfe, Jacqueline Hollkamp, Ella Hurst, Maya Hurst and Carter Hurst. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Eugene Hollkamp; and aunt, Lisa Hollkamp.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Friday at St. John Paul II - St. Joe Hill Campus (2605 West St. Joe Road, Sellersburg, IN). Evan will be laid to rest at the church cemetery at a later date.

Evan loved animals, especially his dog, Lilly. Memorial contributions in Evan's memory can be made to the J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter (201 Willinger Lane, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
