Eugene Seabolt

Eugene Seabolt, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Eugene was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and Papaw to his beloved granddaughter. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at the lake house. Eugene cherished his family and loved to spoil his granddaughter. He loved his dogs, Abby and Jethro. Eugene will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on September 3, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois to Calvin and Eula (Hibbart) Seabolt. He is preceded in death by his father, Calvin Eugene Seabolt; and his mother, Eula Mae Seabolt.

Eugene is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Judy Seabolt; children, Michael Seabolt, Steven (Evie Williams) Seabolt, Jesica (Greg) Sirel; granddaughter, Skylar Sirel; brother, David (Cheryl) Seabolt; sister, Sheila (Billy) Maraman; his beloved dogs, Abby and Jethro; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, with visitation resuming afterwards at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville.
