Mr. Eugene Moffitt, age 67 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2010 with his loving family by his side. He was a member of Spirit Anew Ministries, a former little league coach and an avid U of L fan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sylvia; son, Jay F. Southerling, Jr. (Brigitte); daughter, Charlene M. Epps; brothers, Walter (Barbara) and Douglas (Angela) Moffitt; sisters, Marilyn, Nina and Ruth Ann Moffitt and Williella Davis. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Rashid Harrison, Joshua Southerling, Jaelin Southerling, LaTae Epps.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at his church, 1534 Rangeland Road. Newcomer Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.Newcomerlouisville.com.
