Eugene M. Heimerdinger

Eugene M. Heimerdinger, Jr., age 90, of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016. He was a native of Louisville and was the son of the late Eugene M. Heimerdinger, Sr. and Louise Isaacs Heimerdinger. Eugene was a University of Louisville Business Administration graduate, an Army World War II Veteran and holder of the Combat Infantry Badge and the Bronze Star. He was past president of Custom Cabinets, Inc. of Louisville. Eugene is also preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Posey Heimerdinger and his brother, Richard C. Heimerdinger.

Eugene is survived by his children, Mark C. Heimerdinger and daughter, Sally Heimerdinger Gerdes (Mike); 2 grandchildren, Holly Lindberg (Kristian) and Alex Gerdes (Valerie); and 5 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will 10 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 at St. James Episcopal Church 401 LaGrange Road, Pewee Valley, KY 40056.
