Eugene George Gendron Sr., 89, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020. Eugene loved spending time with his family. He was a huge sports fan his favorite teams include Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Twins, San Diego Padres and San Diego Chargers. He loved music, dancing, playing cards, and going to casinos.
He was born on August 6, 1931 in Brainerd, Minnesota to Leslie and Virginia (Bahma) Gendron. He is preceded in death by his Father, Leslie John Gendron, Mother, Virginia Myra Gendron, Son, Leslie John Gendron, Sister, Phyllis Welzant, Sister, Maxine Marhon.
Eugene is survived by his loving Wife of 69 years, Alta Lorraine Gendron: Children, Vickie (David) Overfelt, Eugene (Lynda) Gendron, Jr., Richard (Sabrina) Gendron, and Curtis (Rebecca) Gendron: 9 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren: Siblings, Leslie Gendron, Charles (Jonie) Gendron, Beverly Leibold, Janice Mathers, LaVonne (Tom) Paulson, and Virginia Wasnie. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish his memory.
Entombment will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central).
