Ethel Mae Russell, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on June 28, 1949 to the late Arthur and Loraine Beeler.

She was preceded in death by a husband, Douglas Russell; and a brother, Michael Beeler.

Ethel is survived by her beloved children, Donnie (Melissa Burton) Burton and Robert (Chrystal) Burton, Sr.; a sister, Brenda (Vernon) Moore; a brother, Alfred Mathes; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be from 12-6 on Wednesday at the funeral home.
