Ethel M. Cottrell, 84, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.
Ethel retired from Bell South after 32 years of service. She enjoyed her retirement by shopping, gardening and most of all spending time with her family.
She was born on January 12, 1934 in Fork Ridge, Tennessee to the late John and Myrtle Taylor. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James Cottrell; son, Paul Cottrell; brother, Coleman Taylor; and sister, Opal Byrd.
Ethel is survived by her loving daughters, Dixie Mae Meyers (Henry), Devona Lee Heath (Glen); granddaughter, Devona Meyers; grandson, Tyler Back (Anna); and brother, Frank Taylor.
In honor of Ethel's wishes, cremation was chosen. There will be no services at this time.
The family requests that contributions in Ethel's memory be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Kentucky Humane Society.
