Esther Adell Pruitt

Esther Pruitt, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on June 8, 2018. She retired from Jewish Hospital.

Esther was born on August 19, 1945, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Leonard and Villa (Mann) Goode. She was also preceded in death by her life long companion Stanley Brown, several brothers and sisters; and great nephews, Josh and Bradley.

Esther is survived by her children, Randy, Mike, Kelly(Mark) and Christy; grandchildren, Jeffrey(Kara), Amber(Michael), Kurtis, Kaylynn (Brian), Jake(Kaelyn), Shelby, Kirsten(Cody) and Jordan; great grandchildren, Layla, Lily and Brantley; nieces, Karen and Nikki; sisters, Lois Lawton and Marilyn Cooper; great grandniece Josilyn; honorary grand daughters, Heather and Olivia; special friends, Karen, Kathy and Dana.

Esther was strong in her faith, time with family and friends and her beloved cat "In A Minute". Her family would like to extended a special Thank You to Hosparus.

Visitation will be from 3pm to 7pm,on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). Her Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at 7pm also at the funeral home.
