Esther Eugenia Bellard of Louisville, KY was born on July 3, 1942 to Martha Dobbins and William Jones. Esther transitioned from this life on Wednesday, November 13, 2019.
Esther Bellard is preceded in death by her husband of 40+ years Abraham "Dave" Bellard, her parents William and Martha, and her Brother Nathaniel McKenzie. She is also proceeded by her grandson Ricky DuBose, Jr., great-granddaughter Aryiah Hall, and her son-in-law Bobby Wright.
Mrs. Bellard leaves behind a legacy of 7 children, Deborah Dobbins, Charlesetta Dubose (Ricky), Martha Wright, Theresa Coleman, Roderick Dobbins, Kevin Young, and Breon Young. She also leaves behind, 21 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family, and friends.
Esther Bellard loved to entertain and always knew how to have a good time. She loved music, baking, and dancing. She will be missed by a host of extended family and friends who will remember her always having an open home and a cocktail ready. She had an infectious smile and a good sense of humor. She will be dearly missed.
Esther also loved the Lord and found him at an early age. She was a long-time member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and an Honorary Member of the Pastor's Aides.
