Estelle Gertrude "Sally" Salings, 70, of Ekron, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. Sally was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and caregiver to all and never closed her door to anyone. Sally will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure and honor of knowing her.
She was born on April 6, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to Harrison and Dorothy (Kiernan) Salings. She is preceded in death by her father, Harrison Thomas Salings and mother, Dorothy Mae Salings; son, Johnny Edward Phelps; siblings Mike Salings, and Margaret Salings.
Sally is survived by her loving Husband of 23 years, Wally Jones; children, Clifford Reno (Ann) Phelps, Jr., and Kimberly Kaye Phelps; grandchildren, Savannah (Deependra) Phelps, Tyler Phelps, Karoline (Joel) Voelker, Noah Phelps, Alex Phelps, Marcus Phelps, Aidan Parker, Stella Parker, and 3 Grandchildren; step-daughter, Abby (Clint) Phipps; siblings, Larry Edmond (Sheila) Salings, Deborah (Henry) Hume, Wayne (Cindy Lou) Salings, and Pamela Lynne (Tommy) Morrison. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
The family will be having a celebration of life at a later date.
