Ernie Joseph Hawkins, 42, of Louisville, passed away on March 13, 2017. Ernie was born in Louisville on January 29, 1975 to Clarence and Betty Hawkins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Hawkins and a brother, Jackie Robert Hawkins. Ernie is survived by his son, Clarence Joseph "CJ" Hawkins; mother, Betty Hawkins; four brothers, Clarence Willis Hawkins, Eddie Thomas Hawkins, William Rowlett Hawkins, and James Marvin Hawkins; four sisters, Judy Ann Ray, Brenda Joyce Brewer, Sheila Faye Thomas, and Dorothy Elois Hawkins; and many nieces, nephews and extended family that will miss him dearly.
Graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 am central time, Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Concord Cemetery in Bonnieville, KY. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272).
