Ernest Elwood Terhune Jr.

Ernest Elwood Terhune, Jr., 78, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 18, 1938 to the late Ernest and Dorothy Terhune. He was a retired from Admiral Merchants and was a member of Wellman Memorial Wesleyan Church.

Ernest is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Darlene Terhune; children, Nancy Kinzle, Robert Terhune, Denise Carroll, Jack Hill, Timothy Hill and Jason Hill; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four brothers, Carl (Judy) Terhune, Forest (Beverly) Terhum, Garrett Terhune and Michael Terhune; and a host of other family members and friends.

A service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
