Ernest Eugene Haycraft, Sr., 56, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at the University of Kentucky Hospital. Ernest will always be remembered for his love of roller skating and fishing and being an avid Dallas Cowboys and UK Basketball fan.
He was born on November 23, 1960, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, to the late Clayton and Norma (Thornton) Haycraft.
He is survived by his children, Brittany Gobble and Cody, Austin, Dalton, Ashley, Dylan, and Brady Haycraft; 2 grandchildren; and siblings, Voughn, Alton, Deborah, Keith, Robert, and Vanessa Haycraft.
Cremation was chosen in regards to Ernest's wishes. Memorial Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Newcomer-Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) with his Memorial Service taking place at 2:00 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (230 East Ohio Street, Chicago, Illinois 60611).
