Ernest Ray Cochran Jr., 59, of Shelbyville, Kentucky passed away on November 5, 2017.
He was born on December 6, 1957 in Shelbyville, Kentucky to the late Ernest Sr. and Frances (Logan) Cochran. He was also preceded in death by his sister Joann Moore, son Justin Cochran and a granddaughter.
Ernest is survived by his wife of 35 years, Edwina (Jones) Cochran; eight children Janese (Nidra) Dale, Joshua Cochran, Jeremy Cochran, Jsha Cochran, Joel Cochran, Carlos Cochran, Demetrick Jones and Domonie Cochran. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and three sisters Judy (Steve) Knapp, Janice (David) Watson, Jacqueline Cochran and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the memorial service 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243).
