Erma Jean Gardner

Erma Jean Gardner, age 86 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015. She was a member of the Poplar Level Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyril Theasu Gardner; parents, Monte and Mamie Green Dixon; children, Phillip Edwin Gardner, Cyril Marty Gardner and Rodger Dale Gardner.

Mrs. Gardner is survived by her children, Tom Gardner (Maryanne), Wendell Gardner, Brenda Davis (Jackie) and Frank Gardner (Carol); daughter-in-law, Bonnie Gardner; 8 grandchildren, Phillip Gardner (Kelly), Teresa Gardner, Belinda Blythe, Melissa Davis (William), A.K. Mader (Eric), Suzanne Story (Jon), Ben Gardner (Kristy) and Amanda Bloomer (Clayton); 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Also surviving are a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 11am Monday, January 5, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Pennsylvania Run Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-6 p.m.
