Emma "Jean" (Zieba) Phares, 73, of Clarksville, Indiana, was called home on Friday ,February 13, 2015. She was born inValpariso, Indiana on May12, 1941 to Theodore and Viola Zieba. Jean was a deputy clerk for 15 years at Bankruptcy Court. Jean enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Mark Phares, brother, Tom Zieba. She is survived by her children, Jerry Phares, Nesa Malino(Mike), Tina Phares, sisters, Karen Sheldon, Sylvia Romeo(Bob), brother, Terry Zieba(Kathy), 2 grandchildren, Kelly and Nicholas Phares, 1 great-grandchild, Baleigh Phares, along with nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday , February 16, 2015 from 4 to 7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana) with service to follow at 7PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to WHAS Crusade for Children(520 West Chestnut Street, Louisville,KY 40202) or charity of choice.
