Emma Rose Coates, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Baptist Health Louisville after a lengthy illness.

Emma Rose was retired from PNC Bank after 32 years of service, and was co-owner of Pauls Cycle Supply Inc.

Emma Rose was born on October 19, 1950 in Hodgenville, Kentucky to Adrian and Elizabeth Greenwell. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Emma is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Dennis Paul Coates, brothers, Emmett Greenwell (Sheila), Darrell Greenwell (Marilyn), Ronnie Greenwell, Kerry Greenwell, and Ivo Greenwell, sisters, Virgie Greenwell-Hutchins, Rachel Greenwell-Thompson (Larry), and Cindy Greenwell-Vaughn (Daryl), brother's-in-law, Tony Coates (Rosemary), Wayne Coates (Linda), Mike Coates (Kim), and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). Her Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 20 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

The family requests that contributions in Emma's memory be made to American Diabetes Association, or the Kidney Foundation.
