Elpidio V. Tan "Elpi", 75, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, was called home on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Elpi was born on March 14, 1939 in Cubu, Philippines. He enjoyed cooking, Bible studies, traveling to the Philippines and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, John J. Tan (Melissa), Helen Costello (Steve), Raymond Tan (Carly), Shirley Charpentier (Jimmy), James Tan (Reagen), 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 2 to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 11 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville,Indiana.
