Elmer David Pipes, 77, of Ekron, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Battletown, Kentucky on January 5, 1940 to the late William Nelson and Frankie Mae Curl-Pipes.
Elmer is survived by his beloved Wife of nearly 56 years, Roxey Lee Medley-Pipes; Son, David Pipes, Daughter, Kimberly Pipes, Son, John Pipes; and a host of other family members and friends all of whom will cherish his memory.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272 with Pastor Elmer Wheatley officiating. Burial will follow at the Bennett Cemetery in Battletown, Kentucky.
Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home from 2-8 pm on Monday, August 28, 2017.
