Elma Blanche Crowe

April 26, 1926 — October 28, 2016

Elma Blanche (Bagby) Crowe, 90, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, formerly of Jefferson, Georgia, passed away on Friday morning, October 28, 2016. She was a woman of God and was a member of the Cabin Creek Baptist Church in Jefferson, Georgia. Elma loved to crochet and sew, but what she loved more was the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was born on April 26, 1926, in Jefferson, Georgia, to the late Julius and Blanche (Maddox) Bagby. Along with her parents, Elma is preceded in death by her husband, Guy E. Crowe; son, Guy D. Crowe; daughter-in-law, Shirley Crowe; and sister, Roselyn Hickox. She is survived by her son, Danny L. Crowe (Glenda); 3 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Visitation will continue at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 4, 2016, at Rooks Funeral Home (109 West White Road, Byron, Georgia 31008) with her Funeral Service taking place at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Macon, Georgia.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations be made to Down Syndrome of Louisville, Kentucky, in the name of Jacob M. Reigel, Elma's great-grandson.
