Ellie Catherine Staggs, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on January 2, 2017.
Ellie was born on July 24, 1938 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William and Catherine Parks.
Ellie is survived by her daughters, Lisa Johnson, Kimberly (Glenn) Curtsinger, seven grandchildren; Katie (Jeff) Walker, Nicole Allen, Vesta Castillo-Breen, Christian Allen, Emma Curtsinger, Franklin Carpenter and Abba Curtsinger. She is also survived by two great grandchildren Keiren Reed and Skye Walker.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, January 9, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville 40243) and from 9:00am until the time of her funeral ceremony at 11:00am at the funeral home with burial at Floydsburg Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to family in the name of her daughters Lisa Johnson and/or Kimberly Curtsinger.
