Ellen Carol Watts, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on August 29, 2017. She retired from Sunrise Children's Services and was a member of Southeast Christian Church.
Ellen was born on December 18, 1945, in London, England to the late Charles and Elizabeth Hughes. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Hughes.
Ellen is survived by her daughters, Lisa Jolley, Amanda Shanks (Todd), Robin Womack (Lonnie); grandchildren, Heather McGuire (Matthew), Stephen Brent Barnes (Shelba Sharp), Samantha Womack, Wesley Womack; great-grandchildren, Faith Barnes and Finn Barnes.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) and visitation will resume on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon at Southeast Christian Church, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
In loving memory of Ellen, memorial contributions may be made to My Dog Eats First (My Dog Eats First, Inc. 2640 Gleeson Lane Suite 2D, Louisville, KY 40299).
