Ellen Andrea McMahel Walker, 71, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020. Ellen worked for over 30 years at Baptist Health Floyd in many different roles until her retirement.
She was born on February 18, 1949 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Charles and Maryette (Hinton) McMahel.
Ellen is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Jerry Walker; son, Michael (Allison) Walker; daughter, Ann Marie Walker; brother, Danny McMahel; and grandsons, Landon and Brayden Walker.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Visitation will continue on Friday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, at funeral home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
