Elizabeth Cecelia Wells

Elizabeth (Betty) Wells, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on June 30, 2018. She was a long time employee at Mothers Cookies, loved playing bingo and was an avid UK fan.

Elizabeth was born on March 3, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Beatrice Boes. She was also preceded in death by her husband Darrell J. Wells, her Sisters, Ruth Tomerlin, and Barbara Sue Boes, and her Brother, Gary Boes.

Elizabeth is survived by her Daughters, Robin L. Handy (Tim), and Tricia A. Clark (Mark), her Sons, Michael T. Smith, Robert G. Wells (Dawn), her Brothers and Sisters, Carl Boes (Carol Ann), Patsy Stokes, Brenda Hood (Jim), Denise Franklin (David), Sherry Bowman (Danny), Marty Squires (Jimmy), and Butch Boes (Barbara), Granddaughters, Kelly Schoeffler (Rick), Pamela Jenkins, and Courtney Clark, her Grandson, Conner Clark, and Great-Granddaughter, Sydney Thomas. She is also survived by a host of Nieces and Nephews, and her loving dog Duke.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, July 5, 2018, and at 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions-Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A celebration of her life will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
