Elizabeth Virginia Peck

Elizabeth Virginia Peck, 93, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019. She was born October 22, 1926 in Baldwyn, MS to the late Arthur and Leila Hendrix Anderson. She was employed at St. Joseph Infirmary where she served as the manager of the business office. Additionally, she served at other healthcare facilities. She lived most of her life in Louisville, KY. Ms. Peck loved gardening and caring for her plants and flowers. She was an accomplished seamstress and an active member of the Women of Moose in Valley Station, KY.

Ms. Peck was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Wallis; daughter, Audrey Wallis; and brother, Franklin Anderson. She is survived by her son, Robert Wallis and his wife, Rae; ex-husband, Harry Peck; grandchildren: Adam Wallis and his wife, Stacey, Anthony Wallis, Suzanne Funk and her husband, Randy, Andrew Wallis and his wife, Stephanie and Tom Wallis and his wife, Betsy; and 5 great grandchildren.

Ms. Peck's family will receive friends, Thursday, December 26, 2019, from 11 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272. A celebration of her life will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be conducted privately at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
