Elizabeth Johnston, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018.
She was born on July 30, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky to Joseph and Lorena Gognat. She is preceded in death by her parents, her Brothers, Richard Gognat, Joe Gognat, and Bob Gognat, and her Sister, Mary Gognat.
Elizabeth is survived by her Daughters, Carolene (Dan) A. Vogel, and Marilee (Larry) S. Johnston, and her Son, Mark J. (Wendy) Johnston, her grandchildren: Tim, Christina, Lisa, Ashley, Ricky, Jennifer, and Brittany, and 7 great-grandsons and 3 great-grand-daughters. She is also survived by her Brother, John Gognat, and her beloved Jack Russell, Daisey, and other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions-Southwest Louisville Chapel. Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, at the funeral home with private burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
The family requests that contributions in Elizabeth's memory be made to the Kentucky Humane Society, or her family.
