Elizabeth Eugenia Garnett

Elizabeth Eugenia Garnett, 56, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 9, 1961 to Jamesetta Girton and the late James Girton. She was an employee of The Galt House and formerly at Thortons for many years. She attended Greater Bethel Apostolic Church.

Elizabeth is survived by her beloved children, Erik Girton, Sr. (Tracy), James Girton (Nisha), Sha'Tonda Girton (Kenyatta) and Antonio Garnett; her mother, Jamesetta Girton; grandchildren, Eireion, Jaquan, Erik Jr., Nadiah, Erin, Erikah, Nariah, Zyron and Zyair ; two great-grandchildren, Neearie and Eireion Jr.; siblings, Debra Cary, Frances Cary, Stefan Girton and Angela Girton; and a host of other family members and friends.

A funeral Ceremony will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Visitation from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
