Elizabeth Ann Foreman, born on April 10, 1941, in Louisville, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on April 17, 2026, in Borden, Indiana, in the presence of her family surrounded by love. A devoted caregiver and unwavering pillar of love, Ann dedicated many years of her life working as a home health aide, finding joy and purpose in taking care of others.
Throughout her life, Ann embraced a rich array of interests that brightened her days and inspired those around her. She loved attending Pow-wow's, enjoyed karaoke, and expressed her creativity through sewing, painting, and cross-stitch. The beach held a special place in her heart, offering her comfort and tranquility.
Ann's greatest pride and accomplishments were her family, particularly her grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy and meaning to her life. Spending time with them was the highlight of her days and her whole world.
She is lovingly survived by her children: Charles (Ann) Gaddie, Linda (Mark) Johnson, Rebecca Gaddie, Richard (Pam) Gaddie, and Tracy Hardin. Her treasured grandchildren include Candice, Jackie (Daniel), Adrienne (Dustin), Andrea (Jeremy), Michael, Cristina (Kit), Richard (Alyssa), Marianne (Jacob), Jacob (Rachel), Justin (Lilly), and Adisynne. The warmth of her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Hayden, Emma, Noah, Avery, Miriam, Oren, Atticus, Leslieanne, Jacob Jr., and one more expected to join the family soon. She is also survived by her brother, Harry Butch (Charlotte) Hunt, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who held her dear.
Elizabeth Ann Foreman was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Harry and Mary Hunt; her brother, Michael Hunt; her grandson, Cory Bower; and her companion, Mike Denton.
A visitation to honor Ann’s memory will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM. Both will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southern Indiana, located at 3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
In remembering Ann, we celebrate a life defined by compassion, creativity, and a steadfast devotion to family-a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
The family requests that contributions in Ann’s memory be made to Spencer County Cooperative Extension Service Taylorsville, Kentucky.
