Elizabeth A. Ewing, 84, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017. She was born in Mayfield, Kentucky on June 5, 1933 to the late Claude and Lorain Dowdy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Walter Ewing; and daughter, Diane Wilson.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Denise L. (George) Vaughn; grandchildren, Chris Wilson, Michael Vaughn, Michelle Vaughn, Matthew Vaughn, Mitchel Vaughn, and Mandi Vaughn; 7 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other family members and friends who will greatly miss her.
A celebration of Elizabeth's life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions-Southwest Chapel. Visitation will be on Friday, September 8, 2017, from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm also at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Louisville Ky
