Listen to Obituary

Elious Rayne, a spirited young soul who brought joy and laughter to all who knew him, passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2025, at the tender age of five. Born on December 6, 2019, Elious filled each day with an infectious enthusiasm for life that will be profoundly missed.

From his earliest days, Elious captivated everyone around him with his radiant smile and playful nature. Whether it was dancing and singing joyfully, or engaging in spirited play at the park, he had a way of lighting up a room that drew family and friends near. Elious cherished the wonders of childhood—his love of dinosaurs sparked endless adventures, each day bringing a new opportunity for exploration and imagination. He delighted in painting and spent joyous moments playing alongside his beloved sister, their bond a testament to the pure love shared between siblings.

Elious had a special knack for connecting with others; he was known as a jokester and always had a warm smile, brightening even the gloomiest of days. His playful spirit extended beyond simple child’s play; he had a characteristic that made him truly unique—a secret handshake with 'Big T' that served as a beautiful reminder of the precious relationships he nurtured, even in his brief time with us. He also enjoyed the thrill of video games and the camaraderie of football and wrestling, activities that made him feel alive and connected to those he loved.

A visitation in honor of Elious will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on September 14, 2025. This will be followed by a Funeral Service, starting at 4:00 PM and concluding at 5:00 PM, where we will gather to celebrate his short yet impactful life.

Elious is survived by his sister, Echo Bindner and lots of family and friends.

Though his time with us was fleeting, Elious Rayne Gardner left indelible marks on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him. He will forever be remembered for his unmistakable joy, vibrant spirit, and the laughter he shared, which will echo in our memories for years to come.
