Eleanor "Candy" Terrell

Eleanor "Candy" Terrell, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Candy was a loving and caring mother who would give her last just to help the next person. She spent 20 plus years with the Board of Education as a nutritionist before retiring in 2023. After retirement she spent most of her time with her grandchildren, helping others, and tending to her garden. Candy was an amazing mom, grandmother, sister and friend whom will be truly missed by all those who loved her.

She was born on November 9, 1963 in Louisville, Kentucky to Reed and Hattie (Hamilton) Terrell. She is preceded in death by her Father, Reed L. Terrell, Sr., Mother, Hattie Mae Terrell, Siblings, Clarice (Michael) Hollins, Reed Terrell, Jr., Louis Terrell, and Marcus Terrell.

Candy is survived by her loving Children, Trent R. Terrell, Tremain T. (Tabitha) Terrell, and Kenya L. Terrell; Grandchildren, Rylee Terrell, Reese Terrell, Russ Terrell, Raelyn Terrell, T.J. Terrell, LaBaron Henry, and ZaKari Henry; Siblings, Johnny (Jackie) Brown, Linda (Ronald) Lorrick, and Lela (Sidney) Walker; Father to her children, Trent Colbert, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends to cherish her memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, (3640 River Park Dr. Louisville, KY 40211). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:30 am on Tuesday, at Redeemer Lutheran Church with burial to follow at Green Meadows Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
